WHISTLER, British Columbia, Canada - On May 16, 2013 Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa and the Cinnamon Bear Bar & Grille put "Go Foodie" in to action. While so many people are focusing on eating locally and sustainably, we wanted to take it to the next level with honest foodie discussion. To gain exposure for our amazing culinary offering, we invited five leading food media on a gastronomic adventure, led by our Executive Chef, Julian Owen-Mold. To add an element of flavourful fun and honest conversation, we also invited a few of our key suppliers and distributors regardless of their size or method of production: Divine Cavier, Skuna Bay Seafood, and Rossdown Farms. This resulted a beautiful opportunity to share ideas, concepts, trends and, of course, incredible tastes. The forum considered the intricacies of gastronomic supply and demand, but certainly it was the fine food and wine that won over our audience. Our culinary team showcased the amazing talent we have at Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa. Go Foodie!
